I wanted to get outside with the boys, somewhere where we could enjoy the autumn. We ended up in "Landgoed Clingendael" in The Hague, which is a beautiful old estate. The Japanese Garden was open, which was pretty special since it's only open to the public for a couple of weeks each year.
Ik wilde lekker naar buiten met de jongens, ergens waar we van de herfst zouden kunnen genieten. We belandden uiteindelijk in Clingendael in Den Haag: een prachtig oud landgoed. De Japanse Tuin was geopend, wat best wel bijzonder is omdat dat maar een paar weken per jaar voorkomt.

Once upon a time I lived in the Hague, but didn't know about the Japanese Garden and Clingendael. Beautiful!
