It's been a while since I last took part in Take A Stitch Tuesday; as it turns out, it's changed a bit. Now the stitches are numbered rather than the weeks. I could easily pick up again where I left off before; only my numbering may be off a little.

TAST Stitch 15: French Knot
I started this one ages ago and actually never completed it: it's not one of my favorites. I like the effect though, and will surely use it again.

Het is alweer een tijdje sinds ik meedeed aan Take A Stitch Tuesday; blijkt dat ze het enigszins veranderd hebben. Nu zijn de steken genummerd en niet de weken. Ik kon gemakkelijk weer verder gaan waar ik gebleven was, alleen klopt mijn nummering soms niet helemaal.

TAST Steek 15: French Knot 
Ik ben een hele tijd geleden al aan deze begonnen en nooit helemaal afgemaakt: het is geen favoriet van me. Het effect ervan vind ik wel mooi dus ik zal hem zeker wel vaker gaan gebruiken.

I won! And also... I won!

I never really 'got' the whole washi tape hype... I mean, sure it must be nice to have pretty tape but why there were projects with washi tape absolutely everywhere... So when I saw this giveaway on the Delicate Construction blog for 10 rolls from Downtown Tape I thought this might be a nice way to find out what the big deal was. Never thought I'd actually win though!
Last week my 10 rolls of tape arrived, together with a bunch of tags to stick them to... an they're lovely! I haven't used them yet, because I have to hide them from Big Brother who's turned into the Bermuda Triangle for tape, scissors and all kinds of crafty stuff (no idea where he got that from... :) He's been eyeing the grey striped one especially. I might just have to get him some of his own, maybe for his birthday.

Ik snapte alsmaar niet wat nou de hype was met washi tape... Ik bedoel, het lijkt me best leuk om mooi plakband te hebben, maar waarom je nou echt overal projectjes ermee tegenkwam... Dus toen ik deze giveaway tegenkwam op het Delicate Construction blog voor 10 rollen washi tape van Downtown Tape leek het me een leuke manier om er eens kennis mee te maken. Niet denkende dat ik ook echt zou winnen!
Vorige week kwamen mijn 10 rollen binnen, samen met een stapeltje labels om ze op te plakken. En ze zijn leuk! Ik heb ze nog niet gebruikt, want ik moet ze steeds verstoppen voor Grote Broer die de Bermuda Driehoek van plakband, scharen en allerlei ander knutsel spul is geworden (geen idee van wie hij dat heeft... :)
Hij vindt de grijze gestreepte het mooist. Ik zal misschien ook wat voor hem moeten aanschaffen, voor zijn verjaardag?

And last but not least Wobbes won over at Sara Art Studio! He got the most votes. So a big thank you to Sara and also to everyone who voted :D

En dan heeft Wobbes ook nog gewonnen bij Sara Art Studio! Hij kreeg de meeste stemmen. Dus bedankt Sara en ook iedereen die heeft gestemd :D
