* TAST update

->I'm moving my blog; you can find all my TAST posts here: Studio Paars - Embroidery stitches: TAST
->Mijn blog verhuist; je vindt al mijn TAST posts hier: Studio Paars - Borduursteken: TAST

It's been a while since my last TAST update. I'd like to show how my second sampler is turning out so far. These are stitches 13 (Satin Stitch) through 27 (Basque stitch). I want to fill it up completely.

Het is een tijdje geleden dat ik mijn laatste TAST update liet zien. Dit is hoe mijn tweede merklap (?) er nu uit ziet. De bedoeling is dat 'ie helemaal gevuld wordt met verschillende steken.

Stitch 27: Bonnet Stitch
It took me a while to get the hang of this one.

Steek 27: Bonnet Stitch
Het duurde even voordat ik deze door had.

Stitch 28: Up and Down Buttonhole Stitch
Yet another version of Buttonhole stitch.

Weer eens een andere versie van de Flanelsteek.

Stitch 29: Basque Stitch
Really liked this one for the flowing lines it makes.

Steek 29: Basque Stitch
Ik vond deze erg mooi bij de vloeiende lijnen.

  2. Beautiful!! I used to do a lot of embroidery when I was younger. I miss doing it. Today I would need a magnifying glass, so I stick to paint!

    Very lovely! Found you via Be Colorful . A table that I revamped got featured today. Hope you will hop over and see it!

  3. I love how this looks, too. I love that it's dense with the stitching and how you've worked the names into the sampler. I usually don't think to do that.
