======================================================
Today was a lovely sunny and summery day! It felt so good to finally sit in the sun wearing just a tanktop after this long winter (and I actually got a tad sunburnt too!).
While sunbathing I made a bunch of these:

I add these to orders from my supplies shop. I used to have pretty business cards (from MOO; they are the best!) but at some point I ran out and thought: since I sell creative supplies, wouldn't it make sense to have something a bit more creative to make my customers remember me?

So I came up with these. The paper I bought a long time ago because I loved it, but I had no idea what to use it for; the thread is vintage crochet cotton; I bought the tag punch on ebay recently and the lovely stamp is by Miss Honeybird (she sells on Etsy too and has a huge selection of the cutest stamps).
Other things that made me happy today were the apple blossom:

The cherry blossom (this is the first year it's blossoming and I can't wait to see if we'll actually have cherries!):

And a couple of pumpkins and beans I sowed:

Unfortunately the thriving little tomato plants I showed last week aren't doing very well, but I refuse to give up on them just yet:

All in all it was a good day :)

Love the tags. The tree is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love your customer appreciation tags. I used these on my merchandise in my antique booth and the tags seem to propel people to buy versus a plain tag. I also sell the tags. I envy you your sunshine, We are usually basking in the sun, but this year we have had chilly wet weather. Good luck with the tomatoes. I had my first tomato and mayonnaise sandwich today - it was delicious!
ReplyDeleteYour plants look a lot like mine. :) I think I planted mine too early. The weather didn't turn warm and they sat too long on my counter. I like the idea of the tags. I may have to make me some.
ReplyDeleteGood to know that you are enjoying sun. Here in India, it's so hot that one can rarely be out for more than a few minutes.
ReplyDeleteContinue to shower your love on the tomatoes and I am sure they'll spring back! And those tags are really cool!
I love the tags! I'm hosting a new linky party at http://hickorytrailblog.blogspot.com/2013/05/efforts-and-assets-linky-party-1.html
